Step Out of the Emotion
Gaining perspective through creative expression
Inspired by the theories of Emotional Agility and Emotional Efficacy, and thoughtfully adapted into a creative practice, this session offers a nurturing space to explore and express your emotions through colour, shape, and intuitive mark-making. By externalising your feelings visually, you’ll begin to shift from being caught in an emotion to observing it—gaining clarity, perspective, and a renewed sense of emotional agency.
No artistic experience is needed—only a willingness to be curious. As you give form to your inner landscape, you’ll build confidence in your personal emotional language. In a gentle, supportive group setting, we’ll witness one another’s creative process, cultivating connection, empathy, and a deepened sense of shared humanity.
"Learning about my brain and how it's wired really helped me get behind myself, learning to give back so much compassion for the burnt out overwhelmed shell I'd become. Working closely together in a small group was nurturing and we were all fully engaged with supporting each other through challenges and celebrating the 'Aha' moments!"
